What We Offer

At Alleyway Art Studio we take kids creativity seriously. Our programs are designed to develop real artistic skills — building technical ability, creative confidence and independent decision-making through guided, process-focused making.

Alleyway programs are structured with school terms: Art Explorers a weekly offering throughout the term, come the school holidays we activate a limited offering of holiday art workshops.

Each term students explore new mediums, study artists and artworks, develop fine motor skills and learn to trust their own artistic vision. Small classes, high quality teaching, and a genuine love of the creative process at the heart of everything we do.

Be Bright - School Holiday Art Workshop

A colourful day of creativity, confidence and self-expression for kids aged 7–12.

Join Alleyway Art Studio these school holidays as we celebrate all the things that make us unique through two bright and creative projects designed to inspire confidence and creativity.

Children will create their own personalised foam clay mirror using colour, pattern and creative design techniques before designing a large-scale bedroom poster artwork filled with their favourite things, interests, words, symbols and personal style.

Throughout the day we'll explore drawing, painting, collage, lettering, colour and mixed media in Alleyway's welcoming, process-focused environment. There will be plenty of opportunities to experiment, create and make something uniquely their own.

Art Explorers | Term 3 | All About Me

Art Explorers is a weekly after-school art class for curious kids aged 7 and up. Each term we follow a theme together — this term is All About Me — exploring the world around us through drawing, painting, 3D sculpture elements and mixed media.

Classes are hands-on, inclusive, engaging and focused on the making, the experimenting, the individual process. Each session introduces a new technique, artist or idea, building skills and confidence week by week.

Two sessions are run back to back straight after school, and can be booked as a double. Students staying for both sessions bring a snack and enjoy a short reset break between classes — perfect for kids who want to dive a little deeper into the day's making.

Classes are held at Boolaroo Public School Hall, 3pm session best suit students attending this school to join straight from class.
